In the Mosel valley, the good life has a long tradition. Celts and Romans already knew about the special climatic zone, not only perfect for wine-growing, but also fort the relaxation of body and soul.
The Friedrich family have been living here for hundreds of years, and 1794 they started to grow wine.
Cultivating an acreage of round about 2,5 ha, a lot really steep, we, that is Oswald und Brigitte Friederich, run a medium size family enterprise which combines long tradition and state of the art technique.

We tend our wine with love and collect the grapes by hand. Our estates philosophy includes a preserving finishing for keeping our wines digestible and storable. Special know how and a modern management ensures the quality of our wines.
Since 1992 we cultivate red wines such as Dornfelder and Spätburgunder which mature in original oak-barrels. Most of our wines succeed in competitions and win national awards.
